Sacred Heart Network

Since 1800, when St. Madeleine Sophie Barat founded the Society of the Sacred Heart in France, Religious of the Society of the Sacred Heart and lay Sacred Heart educators have carried out her imperative of educational excellence. Today, the Network of Sacred Heart schools is an association of 22 schools across the United States and nearly 150 schools internationally. Each has its own identity, but shares the Sacred Heart mission and is guided by the same values. Sacred Heart schools are deeply committed to each student's total development: spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical, and emphasize academic rigor, social responsibility and a strong faith.
