What are your thoughts about the academic experience at Sacred Heart?
I see first hand young girls actually looking forward to coming to school. It is more like a home than school.
What does being a member of the Sacred Heart community mean to you?
It means being a part of something that has sustained time and generations and has not changed much. That says a lot to me. That people that were here when they were young, for only a year or two, and still feel like it was a special part of their lives. That is something that I am proud to be a part of.
Why did you choose Sacred Heart for your daughters and family?
At first I choose Sacred Heart for a job. I did not envision at the time that I was starting a new family for myself and my daughters, but I am grateful and lucky that I have come here.
What have you learned about yourself by being a part of the Sacred Heart community?
I have learned that I have a lot more to learn about life that I ever thought.
How have the values of the Goals and Criteria affected your family's time here?
It has made us aware that we need to remember how lucky we are. And to remember to pass on what we have received not just at certain times of the year but in our everyday activities.
What special characteristics of Sacred Heart make it feel like a second home?
The caring that Sacred Heart shows to all its members.
Describe the feeling you have when you bring your daughters to school.
I feel like that I have made one of the best choices of my life. I know that they are receiving a first rate education and values that will carry them through the rest of their lives.
