Fundraising is a vital part of the 91st Street learning environment, committed to sustaining the tradition of Sacred Heart education.
For while tuition covers roughly 84% of the operating budget of the school, additional resources are necessary to carry this dynamic education forward into a new era and to engender the unique potential that each child carries, by cultivating classroom, community, and building initiatives. Through gifts of time, talent, and treasure, the philanthropy of the entire Sacred Heart community allows us to attain to these inspiring goals.
Guided and informed by the efforts of the board of trustees, the advancement office coordinates fundraising projects at Sacred Heart through a variety of programs. Annual giving supports numerous classroom and community initiatives throughout the school, including educational programs, professional development, financial aid, and facilities enhancement.
One of the most exciting events that the advancement office facilitates is the spring auction benefit. The school's largest annual event, the benefit celebrates the spirit and generosity that make Sacred Heart a truly special place. To learn about giving opportunities, or to volunteer for the fundraising program at Sacred Heart, please contact Craig MacPherson, Director of Institutional Advancement, at (212) 722-4745, extension 107, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
