Annual giving is an ongoing initiative in the school community, a priority that continues to provide our students with the educational opportunities they enjoy at Sacred Heart.
Every year we face the challenge to close the "tuition gap," which is the difference between tuition fees and the actual cost of the programs that are a hallmark of Sacred Heart education, and annual giving allows us to surmount this challenge.
Resources from the Annual Fund help us to develop a curriculum that highlights experiential learning, integrated disciplines, and state-of-the-art technology. Crucial to sustaining classroom excellence is a commitment to professional development, allowing our teachers to remain on the vanguard of modern methodology through seminars and workshops and the implementation of new learning media. The annual fund also provides the gift of a Sacred Heart education to those who may not otherwise be able to attend through the financial aid program, creating a diverse learning environment that enriches the experience of all students. Another important aspect of the Sacred Heart tradition is the beautiful landmark buildings that house these programs, and annual giving helps to maintain these distinctive surroundings by assisting with the operating costs of the facilities.
We encourage your participation in fundraising initiatives at Sacred Heart, and invite you to volunteer for the annual giving program. If you have any further questions, please contact Amanda De Vito, Director of Annual Giving and Special Events, at (212) 722-4745, extension 124, or by e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
