Twenty-two Middle and Upper School students received medals from the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) for their performances in NYSSMA's music festival last spring.

The students competed in voice, flute, saxophone, piano, and violin, both performing solos and sight-reading for a jury of professional musicians. Evaluated on technique, expression, and tone, all 91st Street student musicians earned top scores in every category at every level.

Congratulations to these students on their accomplishments and dedication to their instrumental and vocal studies, and to our instrumental faculty here at CSH for preparing them for competition.
