Students today hoofed it for Heifer International, an organization that donates livestock to families in underdeveloped countries.

Wearing colorful cow necklaces they had decorated themselves, second graders partnered with fifth graders to complete the "Heifer Walk." Despite the gray skies – and having to give up their roof playtime - the Lower Schoolers were clearly delighted to spend time with the older students as they completed the 20 blocks required together. The funds raised from families and friends sponsoring the walkathon will be donated to Heifer International.
