Ring Day
Ring Day

On Friday April 7, the Class of 2018 celebrated a time-honored tradition: Ring Day! At the ceremony, held every year in the Chapel, the juniors receive their class rings one by one and invite special people in their lives –teachers, friends from other grades, siblings and parents – to turn their rings. This year's ceremony was made especially meaningful when Head of Lower School Pat Hult, who is retiring after 39 years at 91st Street, was surprised with an honorary ring by the head of the Upper School, Peg Savino.

Sacred Heart students traditionally wear their rings facing inward until graduation, when they turn the heart outward to symbolize taking Sacred Heart values out into the world.
