Thanksgiving Food Drive

The 91st Street community completed another successful Thanksgiving food drive! With the help of our maintenance staff, parents, faculty, and Middle School students, vehicles were loaded with colorfully decorated boxes brimming with Thanksgiving treats donated by students and families from the Lower and Middle School. The donations, which will give Thanksgiving dinner and more to 35 families, were transported to the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus parish on 51st Street.

In addition, Upper Schoolers sent their collected donations to the New York Common Pantry (formerly the Yorkville Common Pantry). And for the third year in a row, the PA sent over 50 pies donated by Sacred Heart families to families in need at Little Sisters of the Assumption. Their pie sale also allowed them to donate $2,000 to Room to Grow, the not-for-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty through their first three years of development.

Thank you to everyone for your generous donations and sharing your time to help those in need.

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
