For the ninth year in a row, Sacred Heart students are organizing a team to participate in Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer (KWKC) in Central Park. The family-friendly walkathon will take place this Saturday, April 30, and supports pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Upper School student Olivia Sahid '18, who volunteers at MSKCC and serves on the Kids Walk Student Leadership Board, has spearheaded the effort to organize the 91^st Street team, not only speaking to the Upper School urging them to participate, but holding numerous bake sales for the Middle and Upper School students to raise funds and awareness.
