What have been the advantages of an all-girls school environment?

The great part about being at an all-girls school is building a network of friends. You can look back on the funny times and times you were there for each other.

What is unique about Sacred Heart?

When you are new at Sacred Heart, you feel special, smart and talented because everyone is checking on you to make sure you feel comfortable, and you take great classes in which you can develop your skills. It is nice to have new students in the Middle School, because you get to show them around, share activities with them and share new ideas.

Which of the five Sacred Heart Goals means the most you?

The most important Sacred Heart goal, if I had to pick one would be Goal 3. Social Awareness means that we should stand up for people who can't stand up for themselves.

I know you don’t live close to school – how has the commute impacted your experience?

It is a long ride, but it gives me time to get organized. It is better than walking because I get time to sit, think and get ready for school.

Your younger sister goes to Sacred Heart also. How does Sacred Heart meet your different interests and passions?

The school does a really good job of supporting all of our interests. We both love math and reading, but my sister loves art and I love PE. In the Middle School, we get to go to the weight room at the Athletics and Wellness Center and have more PE options than the Lower School.

Who inspires you?

I look up to Ms. Hubacz, Ms. Pacula, Ms. Savino and Dr. Ciancaglini because they always seem to have everything under control. They are smart, hard-working and nice.

If there were only one word you could use to describe what Sacred Heart means to you, what would it be?

Welcoming. Sacred Heart is special to me because it is my second home. It is where my friends are, and where I learn. It is a welcoming place.
