Health & Safety Protocols for Rental Groups

We look forward to welcoming you into our athletic center for pool and gym programs. In doing so, we ask that you become familiar with health and safety protocols we have in place. The protocols below are designed to protect the health, safety, and well-being of all facility users and staff. We will be following the most current guidelines set by the city and state and will adapt as needed. Thank you for your partnership in ensuring a safe environment.

  • Health and Wellness: The number 1 rule is that if you do not feel well, please stay home.

  • Health Survey: Everyone entering the CSH athletic center will need to have completed a health survey. This survey will be automatically emailed to you on the day you are scheduled to attend. Those that do not receive the survey or are new to visiting the CSH athletic center will be able to complete it onsite however you should also notify your program director who will ensure you are added to this distribution moving forward.

The health survey will be emailed only and will be sent to the parent/guardian for each child. This means that the person completing the survey needs to determine a way to share the QR code with the person actually entering the facility. This can be done with a screenshot (sent to the individual via text message or email), or with a print out. Each person entering the facility requires a QR code. One QR code does not cover the family.

If you do not receive a QR code after answering the health survey, you should not attend the facility.

  • Temperature Screening: Upon arrival, all individuals entering the facility will be temperature screened. Anyone with a temperature of 100.0 fahrenheit or greater will be sent home.

  • Arrival Time: Please note that we will NOT begin admitting individuals to the facility until approximately 5 minutes before your scheduled session. That’s not to say you shouldn’t show up early but just know we will not be granting early access. This is all done to reduce unnecessary density in the building.

  • Masks: Masks need to be worn throughout the facility at all times, regardless of vaccination status. For swimmers, this includes up to the point at which you enter the water and from the point you exit the water. Please bring a container or Ziplock bag with your name to store your mask when in the water.

  • Dress to play/swim: Since locker room access will be limited, please come dressed ready to play or swim. We are limiting the time each group has before and after their session which is why coming prepared is important.

  • Swim Locker Rooms: We are asking patrons to limit their time in the swim locker rooms. Lockers and showers will be available for use however swimmers should come ready to swim and leave quickly at the end of their session. There will be no loitering allowed in the locker rooms. Belongings can be stored in lockers or on the pool deck, on a bench assigned by lane. Deck showers are fully operational and rinsing off before entering the pool is required.

Gymnasium locker rooms will have limited access. The bathrooms on that floor will be accessible.

  • Spectators: Spectators and parents will not be permitted inside the athletic center at this time including in the lobby. Adults dropping off their children will separate at the front door and only those people using the facilities will be granted access.

  • Pool deck: Pedestrian flow on the pool deck will be one-way, counter clockwise. There will be benches to store your belongings if you wish and cubbies to store your mask, all assigned by lane.

On the pool deck, street shoes are not to be worn. Please change into “pool deck only shoes” in the locker room or collect a pair of shoe covers located on the locker room counters. Lifeguards will be strictly enforcing this rule.

  • Physical distancing: Pedestrian flow, signage and capacity limits are in effect throughout our spaces to ensure physical distancing. Individuals should do all they can to stay 6 feet apart in all spaces, staying to the right in hallways, and should follow all directional signage which may include stairways designated as “Up only” or “Down only”.

  • Water bottles: Please bring your own water bottle as water fountains are not operational at this time. We only have 1 water bottle filling station in the 3rd floor gym and none on the pool deck. Please plan accordingly.

  • Equipment: There will be no shared swim equipment available. Please bring your own caps, goggles or other swim equipment as needed.

Gymnasium program equipment rules will be enforced by each individual program.

  • Rules: All these rules are in place to ensure the health and safety of all facility users. Failure to adhere to these guidelines or ignoring the directions of CSH staff could result in an individual and/or group being asked to leave the premises.
