Be part of more than just a school.
Thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart and becoming part of a worldwide network of Sacred Heart educators at nearly 160 schools in 41 countries, with 24 schools in North America.
Sacred Heart seeks faculty and staff who want to engage and motivate our diverse students to be active, informed and responsible citizens by creating a learning environment that integrates faith, intellect, community, social action, and personal growth.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to stretch their minds and expand their horizons – and those of their students – on an ongoing basis. Every new employee participates in a year-long on-boarding program that deepens their understanding of the school’s guiding principles, known as the Goals and Criteria. A wide range of professional development offer faculty and staff opportunities to advance their knowledge and skills, and broaden their global perspective.
Recent professional development experiences have included international and domestic travel to Ghana, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Spain, and locations throughout the United States. Employees are also encouraged to engage in community service to increase awareness of social justice in the larger communities of our school, city and world.
The goal of Sacred Heart is to hire, motivate, and develop an outstanding, diverse faculty and staff who work together harmoniously toward the common mission. We strive to celebrate differences, resulting in a productive and respectful work environment where employees are valued, talents are fully utilized and organization goals are achieved.
