Getting to Sacred Heart
The main campus of Sacred Heart is located at 1 East 91st Street and we offer a number of ways for families to travel to and from school. There is free bus transportation through the NYC Department of Education (grades K-6), free Metrocards to those who are eligible, as well as a private bus.
Consolidated Bus (grade K-6)
Sacred Heart organizes the free transportation provided by the Board of Education of the City of New York. To be eligible for this Manhattan only bus service, K - 2nd grade students must live at least ½ mile or more from school and 3rd-6th grade students must live at least 1 mile or more from school. Metrocards
Students in K through Grade 6 who live more than one-half mile from school are eligible to receive a free MetroCard for travel to and from school.
Private Bus Service
A subsidized private bus service is also available to students in K through Grade 12 with stops in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and downtown Manhattan. There is additional assistance for students receiving financial aid.

Subway
Take the Lexington Avenue 4,5,6 or Second Avenue Q trains to 86th Street. The 6 and Q trains stop at 96th Street as well.

Bus
To 1 East 91st: M1,2,3 and 4 Buses (Express and Local options), as well as the M86 and M96 Crosstown Buses.
To 406 East 91st: M15 to 89th Street or 93rd Street.
