Welcome to the webpage for the Aquatics Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart! Our aquatics programming provides students, athletes, and adults with the necessary swimming skills to be safe and active in the water. We believe that each individual possesses unique gifts, talents, and interests. Our goal is to unearth and nurture those gifts, grow confidence and provide an opportunity to thrive in water-based activities. To achieve this, we provide a myriad of high quality, health-beneficial experiences in water-based recreation and exercise with an emphasis on water safety.
Programs for children aged 4-18. All aquatics activities are held at 406 E 91st Street in Manhattan.

Participants range in skill levels from beginners to former collegiate swimmers, triathletes to aqua-joggers, as well as mere recreational enthusiasts. To accommodate for space, lanes will be maxed out at four swimmers. Click here to view the weekly schedules and register for your desired sessions.

The Convent of the Sacred Heart teaches adults to swim too! Instructors work with clients on everything from basic swim technique to advanced racing skills. Triathletes welcome too. Sessions may be purchased here.
