Congratulations to Varsity Lacrosse on winning the 2017 AAIS Tournament Championship!

The #2 seed Sacred Heart faced a 4-3 deficit at halftime against the #1 seed Chapin Gators. The Cardinals came storming out of the second half to take a lead midway through the half. Chapin made another run and cut the lead to one goal with just over two minutes remaining. Sacred Heart took possession of the ball in the last two minutes and held onto victory by a score of 9-8. It was a thrilling victory and the third consecutive tournament championship for the red team.

The Cardinals received an at-large bid to the NYSAIS Tournament as a #6 seed and will face #3 Rye Country Day at RCD at 11am on Saturday morning.

Congratulations are also in order to the 2017 AAIS Varsity Softball Regular Season Champions! Because of their efforts and success all season long, they received a bid to the NYSAIS Tournament as a #10 seed who will face #7 Hackley on Friday at 3:30pm at Hackley.
