91st Street Starts New Year with Social Outreach

The 91st Street community participated in three social outreach events this weekend.  On Saturday, a group traveled to Paterson, NJ to spend 8 hours painting the interior of an entire newly constructed Habitat house. Also on Saturday, 91st Street’s HEART Program (Health Education And Responsible Tools) began its winter season, offering swim classes to a group of children from the Little Sisters of the Assumption.  And on Friday night, Upper School students and faculty held their winter Midnight Run, traveling to four different locations to distribute clothing, shoes and other items donated by the 91st Street community to New York City’s homeless.
