The first grade is full of chicks!

As in previous years, an incubator with chicken eggs was placed in each first grade classroom last week. Over the past few days, the chicks finally hatched. The first graders were enthralled (as were many of their parents, thanks to a live feed) and thrilled to care for and hold the new baby chicks. Tomorrow, the chicks depart 91st Street for nearby farms.
