Tenth Graders Depart for Exchange Program

This semester, 17 tenth grade students are studying abroad in the following cities: Nantes, France; Madrid and Barcelona, Spain; Rome, Italy; and Dublin, Ireland.

Establishing a meaningful connection with others around the world is essential to Sacred Heart's mission, and 50% of tenth grade students take part in our international exchange program every year. The exchange program offers students priceless opportunities for growth through the discovery of another culture. As they travel overseas to Sacred Heart schools and live with Sacred Heart families, environments that are both different and familiar, our students gain confidence, independence, and an increased understanding of what it means to be a global citizen.
