Our Sacred Heart athletes had a great fall season! Here's how the season ended for Cross Country, Soccer, Volleyball, and Tennis.
Cross Country had a great season, with many runners posting impressive times in the first meet of the season and continuing to improve and lower their times at each subsequent meet. Sacred Heart earned 5th overall at the AAIS Championships, with 2 runners placing in the top 12 finishers. At NYSAIS, the team placed 8th overall, with 2 runners placing in the top 25 finishers.
Soccer had an excellent season, with their hardwork and determination earning them a spot in the AAIS Championship game! A fantastic job to our soccer team who played with HEART and we look forward to another great season next year!
Varsity Tennis had a solid season, garnering the #6 seed after taking the top 2 teams in the league to the very last match of the series. Great job leaving it all out on the court, Tennis!
Varsity Volleyball had a solid season this fall, playing close matches with Saint Ann's and Marymount and showing resilience on the court. Finishing at the #7 seed in the AAIS Championships, the Cardinals played a great match against a determined Chapin team. Notably, the team traveled to Stuart Country Day in Princeton, New Jersey, for the Sacred Heart Network Volleyball Tournament! Great job Volleyball
JV Volleyball had a solid season this fall; with the Cardinals ranked as the #6 seed going into AAIS playoffs. The team had a terrific 2nd set comeback against Brearley and played with HEART, ending the season on a high note!
Congratulations to all of our Fall athletes on their sportsmanship and playing with HEART!
