Since 2016, 91st Street has attended the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in Washington DC. This year, the cohort from Sacred Heart joined a group of approximately 2,000 students who came together in the context of social justice and solidarity to learn, reflect, pray, network, and advocate together. 

91st Street Faculty, Lisa Dettling and Matthew Blake, accompanied a group of 5 Upper School students to this three-day event. On the final day of the conference, students met with representatives on Capitol Hill to discuss migration and environmental justice reform.
