Student Work Exhibited at the MET!

The artwork of five 91st Street students is currently on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art!

Upper Schoolers Clare Curry '16, Rose Farah '16, Roxanne Harris '17, Carmen Laidler '18 and Emmie McCabe '18 were all awarded regional Gold Keys for their work through the National Scholastic Art Awards this year. Their award-winning pieces are being displayed along with the work of other student winners through April.

Roxanne Harris was also awarded a National Gold Key Award for her drawing "Faith," shown here. She will receive the award, which honors both her and her teacher, Emily Palmer, in a ceremony at Carnegie Hall in June. Congratulations to Roxanne and all of our student-artists; our Visual Arts teachers Sarah Cricco, Emily Palmer, and Dan Slabonik; and Visual Arts Department Chair Mary Haling.
