Ninety-first Street welcomed students back this week for the school's 138th academic year.

Upper Schoolers began classes on Wednesday, with Middle and Lower School students (Grades 1-4) beginning Thursday. The Pre-K, Jr. K and Kindergarten classes will phase in next week.

The community celebrated on Thursday with Rentrée, an annual all-school gathering at Brick Church. Excerpts from Life at the Sacred Heart were read aloud, and Grades 4, 8, and 12, the oldest grades in each division, were acknowledged as the school's leaders. Seniors received special recognition as they were each called by name and given a white rose.
